Reba - November 2003

Reba arrived here to begin her new life with Mike and I on October 27, 2003.  What a special dog!  We are so honored to have her.  Mike and I cannot thank Cynthia Williams enough for considering and entrusting this dog to us.

Although Reba has been running the All-age stakes in the US, our goals for her will be to earn the  Ftch., and Aftch. titles here in Canada.   <>

Reba has two Qualifying wins, a 3rd, 4th and quite a number of Jam’s, including Reserve Jam’s in the US.  During her Derby year, Reba earned 8 points.

Cynthia feels that courage and desire top the list of qualities that Reba has and that she possesses these in great abundance, especially on water where she excels.  Speed and style are another two.  In fact, Cynthia’s pet name for Reba when she was puppy was “the fur blur”.

Reba is out of Cynthia William’s well known female “Goldwings Star, Am.***”.   Star’s accomplishments include:

*          GRCA Outstanding Dam from her 1st litter of 5 pups

*          Winner of the TORCH FLINN trophy for 1997

*          Winner of the Granat Brothers Trophy for 1997

*          Producer of one AFC, 4 Qualified All Age Dogs and several others successfully placing in licensed stakes.

Reba is sired by Wraith’s HTR MN Bro Mcdhuibh, Am.***.  Bro is getting close to earning his AFC title after winning an Amateur All-age stake this year.  A proven producer, Bro is also the sire of our “Firemark’s Push Comes To Shove, Am. Can.***, QFTR., WCX”.  Push is just a two year old dog and needs a win to finish his AFTCH. Title here in Canada.  Reba and Push are also half-siblings to Linda Browne’s “AFC Emberain Rugby WCX FDHF.

Reba had a wonderful litter of  NINE puppies by FTCH. AFTCH. Ritchie’s Toronto Bust, Am. *** (our very own JIMMY) in late in 2003.  We are thrilled with these babies and have high hopes for their future.  Reba left the whelping box and spent the rest of the winter just being a house dog.  After a long break from motherhood and with very little training, Reba began her trial career in 2004 with a BANG!  Although she started out running Qualifying, shortly thereafter and only a few Amateur starts later, Reba earned her QFTR and  first All-Age points in Canada with a five point WIN in June of 2004.N!!!
J  What a gal!    Here are Reba’s 2004 stats.
